Nel dubbio si sale, non si scende: il costo in più è minimo rispetto a rifare il passaggio.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch2 style=\"text-align:left;\"\u003eRosso-nera, polarizzata o trasparente\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCambia solo il modo in cui riconosci la polarità, che sugli altoparlanti va rispettata: due diffusori collegati in controfase perdono il basso e l'immagine sonora si sfalda.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLa \u003cstrong\u003erosso-nera\u003c\/strong\u003e è la più immediata e la scelta classica per l'impiantistica. La \u003cstrong\u003epolarizzata\u003c\/strong\u003e ha entrambi i conduttori dello stesso colore ma una nervatura o una scritta su un solo lato: più discreta a vista. La \u003cstrong\u003etrasparente\u003c\/strong\u003e lascia vedere il rame e distingue i due poli dal colore del conduttore, ed è quella che si nota meno su battiscopa e pareti chiare.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch3 style=\"text-align:left;\"\u003eRame puro o CCA\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLe versioni in \u003cstrong\u003erame puro\u003c\/strong\u003e hanno resistenza più bassa e sono la scelta corretta quando la piattina resta nell'impianto o quando trasporta corrente reale. Le versioni \u003cstrong\u003eCCA\u003c\/strong\u003e (alluminio ramato) costano meno e restano accettabili su tratte brevi e potenze contenute. In quel caso la sezione va calcolata sulla corrente assorbita e sulla caduta di tensione, non sulla potenza audio. Oltre il dimensionamento corretto, però, il guadagno diventa trascurabile: sovradimensionare all'infinito non porta benefici udibili.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch4 style=\"text-align:left;\"\u003eCome faccio a rispettare la polarità?\u003c\/h4\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCollega sempre lo stesso conduttore al morsetto rosso su entrambe le estremità, e ripeti la stessa logica su tutti i diffusori dell'impianto. Con la piattina rosso-nera è immediato; con la polarizzata segui la nervatura o la scritta; con la trasparente il colore del rame.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch4 style=\"text-align:left;\"\u003ePosso usare la piattina audio per alimentare le strisce LED?\u003c\/h4\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSì, ed è un impiego molto comune. Va però dimensionata sulla corrente: le strisce assorbono parecchio sui metraggi lunghi e una sezione insufficiente provoca calo di luminosità verso la fine della striscia.
